Floral tributes were left in a residential street where a motorcyclist died, as police continued to question three people on suspicion of murder.
The crash, involving a Range Rover and a motorbike, happened on Moore Avenue in Bournemouth on Wednesday at about 02:00 BST. Dorset Police said the black vehicle failed to stop at the scene.
The motorcyclist, who was in his 20s, was from Bournemouth.
Two 17-year-olds and a 36-year-old woman, all from the town, were initially arrested on suspicion of murder and released on bail as the police investigation continues.
A 38-year-old local man, held on suspicion of perverting the course of justice, was released under investigation.
Det Insp Mark Jenkins, of Dorset Police, said: "Our thoughts remain with the loved ones of the motorcyclist during this difficult time.
"We have been carrying out a meticulous examination of the scene as we work to establish the full circumstances of what took place.
"We will be continuing our work over the coming weeks and I would like to remind everyone to allow us to carry out our enquiries and not to speculate or comment about the case as it may prejudice the investigation."
